Christian Home Business Connection Affiliate Center
What is Affiliate Marketing? Simply put, it is selling someone else's product and making a commission when you make a sale through your affiliate link. When you sign up for an affiliate program (most of them are free to sign up), you will be given an affiliate link. You can post this link on your website, blog, use it in your signature line of your emails, etc. How do you promote your affiliate products? 1. Put your affiliate link on your website. Put it in a prominent place where people can easily see it. 2. Put your link on your blog. Blog about topics that would be of interest to people who would be interested in the product. 3. Use the link in your email signature. 4. Put a blurb in your newsletter about the product. Better yet, send out a solo ad for the product to your newsletter list. When you do, offer them some quality information about a topic related to this product, then promote the product. 5. Use your link in your signature when posting in forums that are related to this niche. 6. Buy the product yourself so you can give a personal testimonial about it. 7. Include testimonials of others (at their permission) who have purchased the product. 8. Write articles about topics that would be of interest to your market, and include a link to your website page that has the affiliate link and information on the product. (many article directories do not allow direct affiliate links in articles, so check their guidelines.) 9. Buy advertising space on a related website, or in a related newsletter. Many newsletter owners will send out a solo ad to their subscribers for a price. 10. Purchase pay per click (ppc) advertising, such as Google adwords. Just make sure you set a daily limit as to how much you want to spend, so that you do not spend more than you intended. For more training tips on how to succeed as an affiliate, click here.
